This Thursday, October 10th, Portland State University will decide whether to disarm campus police officers.

Disarming campus officers was already a problem for some students— then Jason Washington was killed by officers responding to a fight.

“Campus Rec is partnering with PSU’s La Casa Latina to bring you a fiesta at the Rec Center pool for Hispanic Heritage month. Enjoy music and pool games, dance in the water, and savor free food.
Free for Campus Rec members and PSU students, faculty and staff with PSU ID. Members may bring guests with a valid photo ID at the daily rate of $7 per person.”
